My Path
Years ago, I experimented with many different paths. I found myself in various social circles, in situations that seemed promising. But, despite everything, I couldn’t find peace. I felt alone, like I was surrounded by a world I couldn’t quite understand. I kept asking myself: “Am I following my own path? Or am I just settling for one that isn’t mine?”
As time went on, I watched many people around me make choices: some got married, others moved abroad, some started families. And what about me? I stayed still, a little lost. Time passed, and I felt more and more distanced, like I was running after something I couldn’t reach.
Now, with hindsight, I realize what was happening. I was the one leaving people behind, but I had no idea how to break free. The people around me, while staying in their comfort zones, unknowingly kept me stuck as well. They were attached to their routines, their way of seeing life, and this unconsciously kept me from moving forward.
Their choices made me feel like I was waiting for something, but I didn’t know what. I felt like it was no longer possible to move on together, but I didn’t know how to detach myself.
I understood that, in order to grow, I had to free myself from that sense of immobility. I couldn’t wait any longer. I couldn’t stay in a comfort zone that wasn’t mine. So, step by step, I began to take control of my life.
Not because I had all the answers, but because I realized I had to jump in, take the leap. To face difficulties without fear, and, above all, always look ahead, asking myself: “Now, what do we do?”
This is how ZakiVerse was born. It started as a thought, born from my desire to tell the world who my father was, even though he’s no longer here.
I’m not ready to share everything yet, but I can say that a part of this journey is for him. Because I wanted to make him proud. And, step by step, I’m trying to build a path that is entirely my own.
- A path that truly represents me.
- A path that speaks of who I am, without filters.
- A path that, hopefully, can also welcome those who, like me, had to leave behind so many things to find their way.
Because, in the end, what I was searching for all that time was just a space where I could be myself, without masks, without fear of being judged. And today, those who follow me do so because they truly want to listen to me. Not because they have to, but because they believe that, maybe, my story resonates with theirs.
I send you a big hug, with all my heart, and thank you for being part of this journey.
